Whats the difference between muay lao and muay thai?

i know there similar but theres gotta be a distinction,


i read an article that muay lao has more points of contact what does that mean? also why is muay thai more recognized then muay lao its just as


good but people seem to know alot more about muay thai.|||Muay Thai uses kicking and punching with the hands and foot, but Muay Lao uses kicking and punching with the knees, elbows, fists, and foot - thus, more points of contact.





Muay Thai is a lot more popular and known because Thailand has been a top tourism destination by Westerners.
