What can i do to learn Muay Thai by myself at home?

please list some exercises and drills. Also please explain and detail the exercises and drills well enough for me to understand. |||injure your self until you decide you need a coach|||Get a punching bag and then start practicing kicks and punches. The only problem with learning this by yourself is you will never learn to take a hit and if you get into a fight and actually get hit it will catch you off guard. There are also correct ways to punch so you don%26#039;t break your wrists and correct ways to kick so you don%26#039;t break your toes. I would really recommend that you get an instructor to at least show you some basics. There is also a lot more to Muay Thai than just punching and kicking. Check out the movie %26quot;The Protector%26quot;. It%26#039;s actually fairly accurate and you will see that there are a lot of techniques involved other than just kicking and punching. Those are best learned under the supervision of an instructor and with a partner.

Other exercises are running to build your stamina. 2 min sprint, 2 min jog, 2 min sprint, 2 min jog, and so on for about 1/2 hour at a time. Weight lifting to build strength and stretching to build flexibility. Believe it or not Muay Thai boxers are incredible flexible.|||i agree with liondancer.

however it depends why you want to learn.

cardio program? sure you can do this at home.

real training? you will miss out on the important stuff.|||There are training videos available online.

But you should really look into finding a real life trainer/master to study under. Anything less than that and you are just going through the motions and will NVER have a full grasp.
