How much should a female Muay Thai fighter weigh?

I am 5%26#039;2 and currently 130 lbs. I%26#039;m thinking it%26#039;s about 115?|||200 kilo i guess

huge fighter

it depends on the length

i dont know im sorry|||If your body weight is too low you won%26#039;t be able to take the kind of pounding that you often receive when sparring.

*The leg kicks that are a big part of Muay Thai are tough to take when you don%26#039;t have well muscled legs.

Your weight now may be fine,if you are carrying most of it in your lower body.|||Depends on what weight you want to fight at. You can fight at 115 lbs if you think you can get down to it. Which I%26#039;m sure you could. I walk around at 193lbs, but fight at 185lbs. With the proper diet, and extra training I get down to 185 easy. I%26#039;ve never had to dehydrate myself to make weight.|||It depends on your weight class.|||I havent seen a picture of you, but if your 5%26#039;2 and you weigh 130, then thats pretty normal for you. I dont know whether you have muscles, abs, or what your intended wheight class is, but just by your heighth and weight, I estimate you probably have a medium size frame and are probably in good shape, so If I were you, I wouldnt loose any more wheight. you should also remeber that muscle weighs more than fat, so you might weigh 130 because you have a good amount of muscle on you, so I dont recomend you loose any more weight unless you talk to a doctor or a nutritionist.|||it depends on what your goal is...|||Having fought in several tournaments in the past, I think I can help you.

There is a term known as %26quot;fighting weight%26quot;. That is the weight that you feel most comfortable in the ring with. Meaning you%26#039;re at the ideal weight for not only peak speed and agility, but maximum power as well. This is not just going to depend on your physique, but your fighting style as well.

When I was competing, I started out at approximately 155lbs, at which I was very fast, and agile, but I was having a little difficulty dealing with the larger, heavier fighters. I knew I needed to gain some weight. So I ate a little more, and used heavier weights to bulk up, until I was 175lbs. At this point I still had all the same speed and agility, but with benefits of added weight. I was pushing those 250lbs + guys so much more easily.

It%26#039;s going to depend on you, so study yourself in the ring, and you%26#039;ll know what you need to do.
