Muay thai training? Does Mauy thai training affect your body as you get older?

I heard somewhere that all the training you do at a young age from breaking stumps with your legs from muay thai training will have a negative impact on your body when you grow older is this true??|||yes your striking joints your neck shoulder elbow hand hip knees ankles feet will be affected and a doctor has told me that the human body is not made to hit thing so every time u hit something u create a small brake in a the bone in your hand and forearm but over time bone grows over the brake and the bone become stronger and your shin do the same

and your never will be damage and become numb over time so u can hit thing harder

do u know what i told that doctor that im help the evolution of man by fight cause damages and scar that are older then 15 years can be pass down the blood line so your may get a bad hip from kicking but your great great great great great great great great grandson will be able to kick a redwood tree down if your family keeps fighting|||Well 90% of the time yes, but that is if you mean real muay thai training. 6 days a week, 8 hrs a day, 365days around the year! Many will end up with artheritis and back pain. My uncle is now a pannadol junkie!. =D. But thats just a sacrifice you have to make, westernised muay thai is alright, though it has been commercialized and watered down to much i feel...|||It does, but it depends how well you take care of yourself. I have been involved in Grappling on and off for about 12 years and sometimes need to take my Glucosamine to help with pain and mobility and im just 32. So i would imagine it gets worse for some than others. Some people are much older and have been doing it for many years nonstop and still go hard.|||they say that many muay thai fighters in thailand start training at a young age, but once they start fighting pro their career at the most lasts 4 years. so all the training for a four year career, i think that says how brutal muay thai training can be on ur body.|||uhh yea, getting ur *** beat doesn%26#039;t help either
