Muay thai?

anyone know if this is a good martial art...which martial art is more popular|||Muay Thai is the best style for striking with its powerful leg kicks elbows and knees there stance may look a little weird but the art is very effective and a great sport to watch it is very popular in Thailand and the rest of the world is catching on fast most professional martial artists are combining this style with ground fighting i highly recommend it and have been training for years just be prepared to have allot of bruisers on your body when you spar.

Good luck it is allot of fun.|||It is an excellent art if you want to learn to fight. You won%26#039;t get the overall flexibilty and control of your body and weapons like you get in kung fu or something. But you will be a very good fighter.

It%26#039;s very hard on your body (depending on where you train) you have to toughen your shins and feet and it takes a lot of abuse. It could cause you problems later.|||I love Muay Thai. Well, watching it anyway. I%26#039;ve never tried it.

I think it%26#039;s a great martial art... for people who like Muay Thai. There%26#039;s no such thing as a good martial art or a bad martial art, only what you enjoy and what you think is good for what you expect to get out of martial arts training.|||Darn fight fan! He gave a better explaination than I could have. I%26#039;ll just second his statement then.|||This is Thailand for Kickboxing! The best flghting sport watch K1 or muay thai dvds such as Kings birthday and S1!|||i know Ong-Bak made me want to start learning. only problem for me is there isn%26#039;t many Mauy Thai places around here. awsome movie, cant wait to see his others.|||Watch Ong-bak sometime... Tony Jaa is amazing and will make you want to start muay thai!
