Where in Thailand would be the best place to learn Muay Thai and Mauy Boran?

I studied Mauy Thai in the Philippines. But I wish to learn more and get deeper into the culture and history of Mauy Thai. I%26#039;d like also to learn the old ways. Where they bound their fists with knoted rope. And maybe do some meditation.|||Bangkok near to the main stadium is wicked, but I would personally say somewhere like Samui because then you can learn the old school way, climbing trees, swimming, running on the beaches etc. I have got some info from this site - it may help http://www.mysamuiholiday.com/activities...

I normally buy equipment in Thailand also, get your own gloves and wraps as their%26#039;s stink!! Hope you have fun

Superpro Samui is a new concept for the island – a gym and resort that aims to combine sport and holidays, based around a training programme that will leave you super fit and revitalized.

Taking in the scene at Superpro Samui, you feel like you have just landed on the set of ‘Rocky’. There are fighting rings, cages, punch-bags, free weights and lots of people in training for what seems tlike the “big fight”. But beyond these first impressions is a totally different side to this unique gym.

Of course, most of the facilities on offer at Superpro Samui can be found in any modern boxing training facility, but you would be less likely to find some of the luxuries added here. The concept is to provide clients with top class, professional training and then pamper them on site with 24 luxury guest rooms including 4 fully serviced apartments complete with communal swimming pool. It’s a service to suit visitors’ circumstances, whether you feel inclined to stay for a full sporting holiday or just overnight after a long day of fitness training. The gym even caters to holiday guests who may just want to watch the fights and training, with a restaurant and pool bar soon to open.
